The fee will be $395 per person and will include shuttle bus, guiding, and plein air painting and sketching instruction. Our small-group sessions will allow for lots of individual instruction. I have many years experience as a painting and plein air instructor in multiple media and experience levels (often at the same time.) See Instruction and Residencies for details.

Potential painting locations will be the lakeshore quite near the bus arrival and the Opabin Plateau, as well as other locations, all dependent on weather conditions and group ability. Our hikes will be easy to moderate - 9.5 km return max with 240 meters max elevation gain.

Lake O’Hara and surrounds have inspired many of my landscape paintings. I have painted there many times and am excited to share this remarkable experience with you!

Lake O’Hara is located in Yoho National Park, BC just off the Trans-Canada Highway, a 15 min drive west from Lake Louise and 1 hour 15 min from Canmore.
